Even Off Notes
By John Zedolik
Should we hope for apocatastasis
to avoid that catastrophe
of a moiety dammed or even more
so stuffing the haunts of hell,
a straining sack of despair,
a smudge in dimensionless depth
upon God’s immaculate skein
apres apocalypse when Satan
may not vaunt. So perhaps a final
reinstatement, a harmony
of divine composition in a key
of which only the creator knows the chords.

In 2019, John Zedolik published his first full-length collection, entitled Salient Points and Sharp Angles. In 2021, he published another collection, When the Spirit Moves Me, which consists of spiritually themed poems. In 2023 he published his third collection, Mother Mourning, and in 2024 published his fourth collection, entitled The Ramifications, which consists of five long, experimental poems. He recently published his fifth collection, entitled Lovers’ Progress. All these collections are available on Amazon.
