Triumph
By Vidya Hariharan

I stand alone,

On the graveyard

 of my achievements

Wondering,

What happened to me?

I do have friends and family

But none are close to me,

Soaring ambition

supplanted them long ago.

I do not weep,

I cannot weep.

I stand empty

On the ashes of my triumph.
