Deep Innings
By Sushant Thapa
This plain canvas,
A drop of paint,
Blankness and spillings.
I enter the world
And see my reflection
In this wasteland.
Let's paint each other's canvas.
Today follows tomorrow
In a foolish shrinking of heart.
Sign my artful abode,
It seeks your acceptance.
All the grounded seeds
Take the kiss of light.
The sky descends
Like silence.
The vastness is miniature,
So, kiss my painting
That foretells
My deep innings.
