Green turns yellow

Green leaves- I save them all,
why do I save? God only knows.
You want to write that ‘secret’ word on the leaves.
Here are all of mine, safe in the pages of the diaries,
but now they are like yellow trail of cobwebs,
Where are you? Maybe making your way
down one more red river or climbing
up one more blue mountain.
Let’s go out and tell everyone about us,
you used to say, so may be
you are telling that.
I am still waiting with my yellow leaves,
why can’t I go with you?
why am I allowing you to turn yellow day by day?
